NAD CI 720 V2 Network Stereo Zone Amplifier
A compact BluOS zone amplifier for spaces that need their own music, control, and serious installed sound.
When One Room Deserves More Than Background Audio
Not every room needs a large rack amplifier, but a single area can still need better sound than a basic distributed-audio feed. If the source, amplifier, and control are not planned together, the room can feel disconnected from the rest of the system.
Audio Two uses zone components like this when a room needs its own music access, its own amplification, and a control path that makes sense in daily use.
BluOS Streaming and Amplification for One Installed Zone
The NAD CI 720 V2 is a single-zone network stereo amplifier with BluOS and HybridDigital amplification built in. NAD rates it at 2 x 60 watts, with dynamic power up to 165 watts, giving one room a compact source-and-amplifier solution.
It can be used where BluOS music control is the right daily experience, or integrated into a broader automation system through supported drivers for platforms including Control4, Crestron, RTI, URC, Lutron, PUSH, iPort, and ELAN. Audio Two can also design AVA as the room-side interface when the project calls for a more polished control surface.
What the Specs Won't Tell You
A Single Zone Can Still Feel Premium
The CI 720 V2 keeps the streaming source and amplifier together, which helps one room feel complete without adding visible equipment. That is useful for an office, bedroom, sitting area, or any space where clean placement matters but the music should still have substance.
Multiple Rooms Can Stay Organized
With the RM 720 rack accessory, up to six CI 720 V2 units can fit into 3U of rack space. That gives Audio Two a modular way to build separate powered zones while keeping the rack face clean and serviceable.
Control Can Match the System Scope
BluOS gives straightforward music control from a phone or tablet, while the published third-party driver ecosystem allows Audio Two to bring the zone into a larger control system when needed. The room gets easy operation without turning the space into a technical project.
The Audio Two Verdict
The CI 720 V2 is a smart fit when one zone needs a self-contained BluOS amplifier rather than a shared multi-channel amplifier. It gives Audio Two a flexible building block for smaller areas, secondary zones, and rack-based systems that benefit from individual zone redundancy.
Designed properly, it keeps the equipment quiet and controlled while giving the room better music than a basic utility zone would suggest.

Why Choose Audio Two
This is custom-install infrastructure for a designed Audio Two system. Audio Two plans the zone layout, matches the speakers and sources, builds the rack, configures BluOS, Control4, or AVA control as the project requires, and tunes the system so the technology stays hidden while the sound feels premium in the rooms where it matters.
