Due to extensive research and development, we’ve upgraded our classic RPM design to an advanced-level audiophile turntable.

The RPM 10 Carbon uses a new extra heavy chassis that features a special CNC machined MDF plate that incorporates hard resin-coated steel pellets to form an extra heavy precise sandwich construction.

Special complex heat treatment and a carbon surface coating ensure superior low resonance levels you expect from a high-end record player.

The mass-loaded chassis is effectively decoupled from its surface via the included Ground it Carbon and its magnetic feet. With two magnets located in the feet, the turntable is practically floating. The studs in the feet are only used for keeping them centered. Due to this unique feature, our audiophile turntable is perfectly decoupled from the surface it is placed on.

Combined with a new special polished aluminum platter with internal TPE damping and a vinyl layer on top, the inverted ceramic main bearing delivers stable turntable speed with an extra-low rumble, better than even an acrylic platter. This platter and table are designed around mass so there’s no need for a sub-platter you’d find on mid-range turntables.

The extra heavy outboard belt drive motor unit is equipped with precise motor control. The RPM 10 Carbon features a built-in switch for a speed change of 33 rpm & 45 rpm. This is better than the standard direct-drive motor as it’s optimized for hi-fi playback you’d expect from an audiophile turntable.

Last but not least the unparalleled 10“ Evo with conical carbon-fiber tonearm and inverted bearing design ensures perfect tracking, even with demanding phono cartridges. The anti-skate tonearm’s counterweight ensures no interference from your stylus to your speakers. We include flexible top-grade copper internal wiring, as the manual turntable is delivered with top-grade 5P phono cable “Connect it CC” with RCA plugs (XLR as an option).

It features a DC power supply driving an AC motor. With an isolated motor and isolated plinth, expect the performance of an impeccable direct drive turntable.

Paired with the right phono preamp and upgraded with a Sumiko Starling moving coil phono cartridge pre-mounted, it’s one of the best audiophile turntables on the market. Include a high-quality amplifier to optimize sound quality from your vinyl records. While we recommend the Starling, the RPM 10 is built to give you the most out of any MC or moving magnet cartridge.

This is the best performing player in its price range. Analog lovers upgrading from an entry-level turntable or automatic turntable will be blown away at how it changes their audio system. High-fidelity music lovers will love the way it plays nicely with any phono stage or preamp.

For Pro-Ject diehards, this is a solid upgrade from the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Evo and our higher-end turntables.

Our Cover It 1 dust cover is a perfect fit for those rare moments there’s not a record spinning on your table. Don’t just take our word for it and check out this review of our audiophile turntable from Soundstage Hi-Fi.
