Eversolo T10 Streaming Transport
Keep the DAC you love, with a dedicated source for streaming, stored albums and careful system tuning.
Your DAC Can Stay. Your Streaming Source Can Change.
You like the sound of your DAC and want to keep it. Now you want a streaming source that deserves its place beside it, both in sound quality and how easily you can find and play your music. You should not have to replace the DAC to get there.
A Dedicated Source for the DAC You Choose
We chose the Eversolo T10 because it puts its engineering into streaming and digital output rather than including another DAC. A custom linear power supply, electrical isolation and temperature-controlled clocking address power-related interference and timing stability before the signal reaches your converter. The listening goal is to preserve the small details that give a voice its texture and keep instruments distinct, without asking you to give up a DAC you already enjoy.
The Eversolo DAC-Z10 is a natural match, with the digital inputs needed to connect the two. The T10 can also feed your existing DAC through USB, IIS, AES/EBU, coaxial or optical, provided the input and supported formats match. It has no analogue outputs: your DAC still converts the music, and your preamplifier or integrated amplifier still handles the analogue signal and listening volume.
An 8.6-inch touchscreen gives you album artwork and playback controls at the equipment shelf, while Eversolo Control lets you browse from your chair. TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect and Spotify Connect let you choose music in familiar apps. In a living-room stereo, that means the streaming source can sit with the rest of the equipment without a laptop on the coffee table.
For downloaded albums and ripped CDs, two internal SSD slots support up to 16TB of optional storage. You can also access music on a NAS or attached USB storage, so moving to the T10 does not require rebuilding your collection around one storage method. CD playback and ripping require a separate compatible USB CD drive; there is no built-in disc mechanism.
What the Specs Won't Tell You
Hear What Your Existing DAC Can Do
The T10 combines an oven-controlled crystal oscillator with PLL clock processing, plus isolated digital interfaces and internal shielding designed to limit electrical interference. These are measures aimed at reducing unwanted contributions from the source, not a tone control for making every recording warmer or brighter. We would compare it through your chosen DAC, using familiar recordings and matched listening levels, paying attention to vocal texture, the space between instruments and how clearly a bass note starts and stops. The result depends on the DAC and connection, so the T10's engineering is a reason to listen, not a promise that every system will change by the same amount.
Get the Connection Right the First Time
USB and IIS support the T10's highest published sample rates, but your DAC must support the format you send. IIS uses an HDMI-shaped socket here; it is not a TV connection, and its eight selectable output modes need to match the DAC's pin configuration. AES/EBU, coaxial and optical are also useful options, especially when those are the inputs your preferred DAC provides. We would start with the connection that suits the DAC, then compare alternatives rather than assume the highest number on the specification sheet gives the best sound.
Hear the Bass Line, Not Just the Room
If certain bass notes dominate at the listening seat, the T10's evotune PRO room correction and parametric EQ let you adjust the digital signal before it reaches your DAC. That gives you a way to work on the room's contribution while keeping the converter and amplification you chose. We would use measurements to guide the adjustment and compare the correction on and off, listening for bass notes with more even weight rather than simply less bass. Eversolo recommends a professional measurement microphone for greater accuracy.
The Audio Two Verdict
We would consider the T10 when the DAC is staying and you want to give the streaming side of the system the same attention you gave the converter, amplifier and speakers. With the DAC-Z10, it makes a straightforward separate transport-and-DAC system; with another DAC, we would check the inputs and format limits before recommending a connection. The point is not to use every output or turn every processing option up to maximum. It is to choose a source, connection and setup that serve the recordings you listen to, then confirm the result in your system.
