Rotel - A12MKII Integrated Amplifier

$1,499

One System. More Reasons to Sit Down and Listen.

The Rotel A12MKII integrated amplifier brings 60 watts per channel of Class AB power, a 32-bit DAC and a moving magnet phono stage into one slim component. Your music collection probably does not live in one place. Some favourites are on vinyl, others come from a computer or a digital source, and sometimes you simply want to play something from your phone. Connecting them should not mean assembling a stack of workarounds.

The A12MKII gives those sources a common home without treating amplification as an afterthought. Its combination of analog inputs, digital connections and aptX Bluetooth makes it a practical centre for a stereo system built around listening, not managing equipment.

The Engineering Behind the Convenience

Dedicated Stereo Amplification

A 2 × 60-watt Class AB amplifier sits at the heart of the A12MKII. The slim enclosure keeps the system manageable, while the dedicated amplification gives your speakers the foundation they need. When auditioning, bring a familiar track with a busy rhythm section and a clearly recorded voice. Listen for how easily you can follow both, along with the quieter musical parts around them.

Digital Detail Takes More Than a DAC Chip

A 32-bit Texas Instruments digital-to-analog converter works with custom output filters and preamplifier circuits. The design focuses on preserving the integrity of the audio stream through conversion and into the analog stages. Rather than treating the chip specification as the whole story, Rotel gives attention to the circuitry surrounding it.

A Place for Vinyl, Too

The moving magnet phono input lets a compatible turntable connect directly. Four RCA analog inputs provide connections for other analog sources, while four digital inputs and PC-USB accommodate digital playback. You can build around the sources you already enjoy rather than choosing an amplifier that dictates how you listen.

Wireless When It Suits You

aptX Bluetooth adds straightforward wireless playback from compatible devices. It is there for the moments when convenience matters, alongside the wired connections for your regular listening setup. Roon Tested certification also supports use with Roon software.
